Do you know what these masks represent? These are the tragedy and comedy masks and are a sign of the dramatic arts. Findlay and Hancock County have given the world some remarkable talents over the years. Many have been honored on Marathon Center for the Performing Arts’ Wall of Honor, like John Scott Lavender, Allen P. Dudley, and Tony-award winner Gavin Creel.

 

The Findlay community has long supported the arts, supporting current organizations like Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, Youtheatre, Fort Findlay Playhouse, Findlay Civic Concert Band, Findlay Civic Choir, Findlay Community Orchestra, school bands, choir, and performing arts groups at both county schools and Findlay City Schools. Findlay High School’s Findlay First Edition (FFE) has achieved notoriety on a national level. These organizations are successful because of the success of previous organizations like The Arts Partnership, Findlay Light Opera Company, Findlay Area Arts Council, and more.
