Turner Music Shop

In July of 1965, the Chuck-Wagon Restaurant located at 529 North Main Street was sold at public auction, and a few months later, Ron Turner opened his Guitar School and music store in that location. Many teens and band members in their early 20s fondly remember trying out instruments at Turner’s, as well as taking lessons with the guitar and drums. The business was short-lived, and was closed down around 1969.
