About the event
As part of Ohio Open Doors, the Hancock Historical Museum invites guests to enjoy a special evening inside the historic DeWald-Funk House!
Built in 1852, the DeWald-Funk House stands as one of Hancock County's most historic homes and offers a glimpse into middle-class life during the mid-19th century. While the house is located on the museum campus, it is not regularly open to the public during normal museum operations, making this event a rare opportunity to step inside and explore this remarkable piece of local history.
During this special after-hours experience, visitors can tour the home, learn about the families who lived there, admire its historic preservation and craftsmanship, and discover stories that helped shape our community. Museum staff and volunteers will be available throughout the evening to share insights about the house's history and significance.
The Museum's Exhibit Center, Hull-Flater House, Crawford Log House, and the Marathon Petroleum Energy…
