Sponsor A Day
Our Hands-on-History Program for 5th Graders is provided for free to area schools and students. This year we are asking our members to help fund this program. The cost of supplies is $2.00 per student and the average group brings fifty students a day. We are asking that you donate $100 and sponsor a day of our 5th grade program for an area school. Volunteer Opportunities
The Hancock Historical Museum is looking for friendly, outgoing people who enjoy working with the public. By volunteering at the museum, not only are you donating your resources and talent to our non-profit organization, but you will have a fun and rewarding experience! The benefits include flexible scheduling and the opportunity to meet many interesting people.

We are particularly looking for volunteers in the following areas:
Museum Docent/Guide
Fifth Grade Hands-on-History
Gift Shop
Groundskeeping
Train Engineer/Conductor
